WHAT TO EXPECT AS A CTS LICENSED INSTRUCTOR
Player/Parent Contact
The process begins with initial contact between the player, parent/guardian (in the case of a minor), and the CTS Licensed Instructor. This could occur through various channels, such as an online inquiry form, phone calls or via email.
Free Evaluation for Player/Parent
Once the initial contact is established, the next step involves offering a free evaluation session. This serves a dual purpose:
● For Player/Parent: It allows them to experience the system firsthand, understand the teaching methods, and get a sense of the instructor's expertise.● For Instructor: It provides an opportunity to assess the player's skill level, understand their needs, and tailor the training program accordingly.
Instructor Evaluation of the Player
During the evaluation session, the instructor closely observes the player's abilities, strengths, and areas for improvement. This evaluation helps in creating a personalized training plan suited to the player's skill level and goals.
Parent Approval and Fee Options
Following the evaluation, the instructor discusses the results with the parent or guardian (or player, if applicable). This includes recommendations for improvement, potential player goals, and the proposed training program.
The instructor outlines various lesson fee options, monthly CTS membership fee and then discusses those with the parent or guardian. Regarding training options, this could involve different packages, payment plans, or any available discounts.
Note: CTS Membership is required to train with a CTS Licensed Instructor. Membership is obtained separately by using the CTS Membership button on the Instructor's Website.
Agreement Consultation
Once the monthly CTS membership fee is paid (separately and apart from instructor fees), lesson fees and program details are agreed upon, a formal agreement is discussed and finalized. This agreement typically outlines the terms and conditions, the duration of the training, cancellation policies, and any other relevant details.
Scheduling Lessons
With the agreement in place, the next step is to schedule regular training sessions. The instructor and the player/parent work together to find suitable timings and frequencies for the lessons.
A clear and organized schedule ensures that both parties are committed to the training program and helps in tracking progress over time.
